when I look back

today while walking on the road I happened to look back,
gosh to my surprise when I turn back I can't see my shadow!!!

He has left me and gone far ahead,how can this happen,
when the promises he made were so hard to break...

Now I am running behind him as the fastest sprinter wud had,
But no chance!! I can't get hold of him..

So I sit exhausted on a rock and start to think back,
what made him leave me alone.

I can see myself playing around in yester years,
all the time my shadow behind as strongly bonded as ever...

But then I remember sometime back he had asked me,
sitting besides me in a deep retrospective mood..

How much I cared for him !! how much did I love him???
In a simple unobserved voice I had answered him
that my love has no bounds!!! bringing a weird smile on his face....

Yes I know now he understood ... I was lying!!!!

kitni khamoshi se ye raat aaj beetti jaa rahi hai,
baatein dil mein itni hain,par phir bhi ghutti jaa rahi,
zuban chup hai,honth bolne ki koshish mein thak chuki hai,
kyun hai itna dard seene mein, ki mano sanse bhi ab ruk chuki hai,
koi to hoga upaye,is gam ke alam se nikalne ka,
koi to hoga raasta,zindagi ko phir se dhoondh paane ka,
par doore tak koi sahara nahi,na koi anjana bhi dikhta hai,
sochoon chahe jitna bhi,nahi hai koi jawab jo milta hai,
aaj kayamat ki raat hai,is baat ka ab jaake ehsaas hua hai,
saare rishte hai kitne khokle,ye raaz aaj humpe zahir hua hai

soch ko lage pankh

umeedon ke pankh lagake ye man aaj ud chala hai,
nayi roshni ko dhoondne ye yaadon ko bhi bhula chala hai,
soch kar, kyun kare intezaar ,khushi ke ghar aane ka,
pagal ye man mera ,khushi ka hi ghar dhoonde chala hai..
